A Day At The Races

The 1st annual fundraising event "Race For Chimborazo Children’s Fund" took place at Woodbine Racetrack on May 13,
2006.
It was a gorgeous, crisp day filled with many activities. People were enjoying themselves watching the
horses run, bidding on beautiful items in the silent auction and sitting back and enjoying the live entertainment.
Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time all the while supporting a terrific cause.
The day proved to be a success and altogether we raised over $40,000 net.
We would like to give a special thanks to Gord James, a fixture on Toronto's 1050 CHUM FM for over 25 years. Gord was
the Master of Ceremonies for this special event, did a wonderful job, and will be joining us again for the 3rdAnnual "Day
At The Races", May 10th, 2008.
